grandpa joe foundation
November 1, 2006
We all remember Grandpa Joe Bartmann kneeling over a small tree, straw hat covering his shiny bald head, planting a gift for future generations.
This page is home to The Grandpa Joe Tree Foundation, a new little idea I have. You can read my blog post about it.
If you want to get involved in planning and putting this organization together, or if you want to donate in Grandpa’s memory, please email me.
If you have a good idea or a question, just post in the comment box below. I’ll post updates here as they happen. You can visit this page anytime at grandpajoe.org.

Hey joe,
Another tree you might like to try would be the Myer Spruce. They’re more diease resistant and more tollerable to our SD climate than the Colorado Blue Spruce. You should be able to get some through the local conservation district.
great job on the site,
Brett
