Thanks to Garr Reynolds on Presentation Zen for pointing me to Discovery’s page on the”Cosmic Calendar.” It a representation of the whole history of the universe in one year. Each month represents about a billion years. Here’s December:


So guess when we showed up? In the last 15 seconds of December 31. All of known history occurred in the final second. And we think it was all created just for us…
