Zai Jian Jason

14 Feb

That’s ‘good bye jason.’ In Mandarin Chinese. My Sis’s hubby is somewhere on his way to China with his South Dakota Agriculture and Rural Leadership class. Lucky for me and you, we can follow along on SDARL’s China blog.

Strait from Jay’s mouth: “We will try to post pictures and a report daily to it so you can keep up with what we are doing and where we are at while we are gone. See you when I get back!”

There’s a link to Jay’s China Blog in the right sidebar on bartblog. I expect a full report here in the comments when you get home Jay (or even while you’re there…). Have fun and learn a lot. But mostly have fun.

PS-I’ve been worried about Vern. This trip of Jason’s will take a big hit on his coffee time…

UPDATE: Jay makes the China Blog, fumbling with chop sticks in Bejing…

Update: according to the China blog, the SDARL crew touched down in Bejing this morning! Well, actually it was 4pm there, so I guess they landed this afternoon…

Beijing is 14 hours ahead of our time. So they left on 2/13 at 10 am and arrived in China on 2/14 at 4 pm. Crazy!

Check it out. Jason got his picture on their SDARL blog the first day! Hmmm…might be a long trip if he has to eat with those chopsticks the whole time.
