So we’ve decided to take a holiday to southern Europe next year. France and Italy, to be more precise. If all goes well, we’ll have dumped all of our debt by end of this year, and next year will be our ten year wedding anniversary. So to celebrate all that hard work (yup–both paying off debt and staying in loving marriage are work, youngsters) we’re taking the first big trip of our lives.
At the Knox Easter celebration yesterday (at Mom’s house) we saw Cousin Dave’s pics from a recent trip to Sweden, Germany and Rome. I guess that helped seal the deal. As of now, the plan is to hit Paris, Florence/Tuscany and maybe Rome over a couple of weeks next year. We’re not sure when to go, or what to see, or where to eat and stay, so we need your help. I have a good friend who spends a good amount of time in Paris, so he’ll be a big help. But we’d love to hear your experiences and advice. Spring or Fall? Florence or Rome? Where in the Tuscan countryside? Where to stay, eat, learn and play?
Come on friends–give us a hand…(Thank you!)
